Phaze 2 Gallery to host new exhibition with artist reception September 28

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Phaze 2 Gallery is hosting the Annual Faculty Exhibition September 23-October 18, with an artist’s reception Tuesday, September 28, from 4-6 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

“The Annual Faculty Exhibition gives students and community members a look inside the professional creative practices of Shepherd University’s art faculty,” said Evan Boggess, gallery director. “Digital video, painting, sculpture, design, installation art, and printmaking are some of the disciplines that will be showcased.”

Faculty artists included in the exhibit are Boggess; Sonya Evanisko, professor of art and coordinator of painting; Andrew Dolan, assistant professor of art, graphic design; Lauren Koch, adjunct art professor; David Modler, associate professor of art; Kay Dartt, clinical assistant professor of art; Robert Farmer, adjunct art professor; Jacquelyn Fluker, Department of Contemporary Art and Theater administrative assistant; and Ally Christmas, assistant professor of art.

Phaze 2 Gallery is located in the Center for Contemporary Art next to the Marinoff Theater and is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3-5 p.m. or by appointment. For more information, contact Boggess at eboggess@shepherd.edu.
