SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Office of Alumni Affairs and the Shepherd University Foundation are hosting a 150th Anniversary – Honor/Memoriam Luminaria Display on Thursday, December 2, from 5-8 p.m. on the lawn of the Robert C. Byrd Science and Technology Center.
The event is free and open to the public. Parking will be available in the lots behind the Byrd Science Center and Scarborough Library and visitors can walk through the luminaria display.
University students, employees, friends, and community members can request luminaries to honor or memorialize individuals or groups free of charge. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available for purchase at the event to support the Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity.
