Debate and Forensics Team does well in Ocean City tournament

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The Shepherd University Debate and Forensics Team placed fourth in Team Sweepstakes and won or placed in nine events during the CFA at the Beach tournament March 4 and 5 in Ocean City, Maryland. The College Forensics Association also honored all graduating seniors for their participation in the art of debate and public speaking as well as their accomplishment of graduating from their respective college or university. Shepherd University seniors who were honored and received certificates were Jacob Cross, Abby Johnson, and Chuck Feaster.

The team’s final tournament is in Columbia, Maryland, March 20 and 22.
