Art Market scheduled for December 2

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University is hosting its annual Art Market on Friday, December 2, from 3-7 p.m. in the Center for Contemporary Arts. Students, faculty, and alumni from all disciplines will offer original artwork and crafts for sale.

The market will include one-of-a-kind drawings, paintings, prints, mixed media, sculpture, handmade jewelry, photography, and various graphic design products such as note cards, postcards, posters, and stickers. Cash and check are preferred, though many artists will be able to accept credit cards.

The market is free and open to the public. Parking near the Center for Contemporary Arts is limited, but guests may park in any nearby lot without a permit after 4 p.m. For more information, contact Sonya Evanisko, professor of art, at sevanisk@shepherd.edu, or the department office at 304-876-5224.
