SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The Shepherd University Community Orchestra and Junior String Ensemble will hold auditions for the spring 2023 semester on Wednesday, January 11, from 7-7:30 p.m. in the Frank Arts Center.
The Community Orchestra, which is open to advanced string players in middle and high school and adult community members, meets Wednesdays from 7:30-9 p.m. The Junior String Ensemble, open to younger or less-experienced string students of elementary, middle, and high school age, and adults, meets Wednesdays between 6:15-7:15 p.m.
Tuition for either ensemble is $150 per semester. The ensembles will perform a joint concert
on April 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Frank Arts Center Theater.
