How to Apply
- Complete the online application
- Use your favorite email, such as Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, etc… when creating your account
- You will receive an email to verify yourself and create a password (save this information for future use)
- Once in the portal, click “START APPLICATION.”
- Choose Undergraduate > High School Dual Enrollment > Term you are starting, such as FALL 20xx or SPRING 20xx.
- Complete all required information (red dots), review your application, and then submit.
Required Information
- TRANSCRIPT: A copy of your high school or homeschool transcript indicating an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- RECOMMENDATION: Approval or recommendation from a principal, guidance counselor, or homeschool coordinator. This can be emailed to the coordinator of dual enrollment bkandali@shepherd.edu
- PLACEMENT: Official ACT/SAT/Accuplacer scores are needed if planning to enroll in….
ENGL 101, CIS 104, ECON 205, ENGR 101, and MATH 105 and higher.
- ENGL 101 (Writing and Rhetoric) must have an SAT score of 480 (reading section), ACT score of 18 (math section), or an English Accuplacer score of 250.
- MATH 105 (College Algebra)/ECON 205 (Principles of Macroeconomics) must have an SAT score of 530 (math section), an ACT score of 21 (math section), or a math Accuplacer score of 260.
- ACT and SAT will allow you to send four institutions/programs your scores for FREE.
