RAM Band Information Meeting
Friday, March 21 (4:30pm – 5pm) Frank Center 166
Everyone interested in being involved with RAM BAND 2025 should plan to attend this meeting. We will talk about schedules, student leadership, drum line, color guard, field commander tryouts, and show ideas. RAM Band is open to all university students. Color Guard Clinic & Auditions
Saturday, March 22 (10am – Noon) Frank Center 166
Anyone interested in performing in the Ram Band Color Guard should plan to attend this clinic and audition. Wear athletic attire be ready to dance, spin flags, and toss guard equipment! Drumline Clinic & Auditions
Saturday, April 12 (1pm – 5pm) Frank Center 166

Color Guard, Drumline (Battery), Frontline (Mallets) and Student Leaders
Color Guard Clinic & Auditions
All Shepherd students are invited to participate in the one-day clinic of dance & flag routine instruction. Auditions will be held after routines have been learned. Please wear athletic or dance clothes and sneakers.

Drumline Clinic & Auditions
Members of the Shepherd RAM BAND who plan to play battery percussion (snare, tenors, bass drum & cymbals) will participate in a clinic prior to auditions that will set the line for the season.
Frontline Clinic
Members of the Shepherd RAM BAND who plan to play mallet percussion in the frontline (NOT piano, bass or guitar) will participate in a clinic that will clarify and build our mallet technique, develop a warm-up routine, and allow us to determine each member’s skill level.
Daniel Morris is our drum line instructor and percussion writer. Percussion equipment is provided by the RAM BAND, however, each student should bring their own sticks.

Student Leadership Seminar
Field Commanders, Band Manager, Field Captains, and Section Leaders will engage in leadership training, teambuilding activities, rehearsal techniques, and thoughtful discussion about our roles as Ram Band Student Leaders.
