SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University is offering a new dual master’s degree—a Master of Arts in college student development and administration (CSDA) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).

The 60 credit-hour program is designed for students who have completed a baccalaureate degree and are interested in pursuing or advancing a career in student affairs or enrollment management, or other higher education administrative roles as well as other business and non-profit experiences. Dr. Richard Stevens, dean, School of Graduate and Professional Studies, said students enrolled in the program will earn two degrees in three years and will have additional flexibility as they search for positions primarily in higher education.

“Real-world and practical application is central to this program,” Stevens said “This new program provides an additional opportunity for students seeking advanced degrees. CSDA students can hold a graduate assistant job for three years instead of two, so they leave Shepherd with additional experiences and providing additional knowledge for the ever-changing landscape of higher education.”
