Shepherd University Day of Giving is a 24-hour celebration of community and philanthropy. Our goal is to inspire alumni, students, staff, faculty, donors, parents, and friends to support the causes at Shepherd University. When we combine our support, there are no limits to what we can accomplish! Join us for 24 hours of celebrating all the best that Shepherd University has to offer, show your Ram Pride, and give back!
The Shepherd University Alumni Association is inviting all alumni to join us for a special Happy Hour at Panagiota’s Taste of Greece (115 E. German St. Shepherdstown, WV 25443) as we rally support for the areas you’re most passionate about across the university. Stop by, connect with fellow Rams, and help us make an impact together. Whether you care about scholarships, athletics, academic programs, or student clubs and organizations—your gift makes a difference. Let’s come together, celebrate Shepherd, and show what alumni can do in just one powerful evening!
4th Annual SUAA Legacy Gala for Scholarships
Friday, March 13

Celebrate your Shepherd University experience and invest in the future at the Fourth Annual Legacy Gala. Join fellow alumni for an unforgettable evening of music, connection, and philanthropy in support of the Shepherd University Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception featuring beer and wine service, followed by a plated dinner accompanied by live music. Continue the celebration with engaging fundraising activities, including raffles, games, prizes, and a photo booth—creating memories while supporting tomorrow’s Rams.*
Individual Ticket – $60**
Couples Ticket – $90**
*Raffles and games are additional fundraising activities that will be CASH ONLY. Your event ticket covers entry, refreshments, and entertainment for the evening.

65th Annual McMurran Scholars Convocation
Friday, April 24

The McMurran Scholar Award, the highest academic honor granted by Shepherd University, was conceived in 1961 by Professor Kenneth Riley who served on the first Honors Committee along with Librarian John Maine and Dean of Students O.L. Harry. Criteria for selection as a McMurran Scholar can be found here.
65th McMurran Scholars Anniversary Celebration
Saturday, April 25
5 – 8 p.m.
SU Dining Hall – upper floor (East Campus Loop)
Join us for a special dinner reception to celebrate 65 years of the McMurran Scholars award! The evening will consist of an option campus tour, group photo of all McMurran Scholars in attendance, a short speaking program, and a plated meal with a beer and wine bar included.
The Shepherd University Bookstore will be open from 4-6 p.m. for freshening your Shepherd gear!

Accounting Club Alumni Dinner

The time for catching up with old friends and meeting future accounting professionals is here again! Buffet Dinner with beer and wine available. Business casual dress encouraged.
