Sans Merci – 50th Volume Celebration & Release Party

As we approach the 50th anniversary of Sans Merci, we would be honored to welcome you back to celebrate this remarkable milestone. Your creativity, dedication, and contributions have shaped the magazine’s legacy, and we hope you’ll join us for a special 50th Anniversary Release Party to reconnect, reminisce, and honor five decades of student‑driven art and writing.

Shepherd Baseball at Meritus Park (vs. Frostburg)
Tuesday, April 21
6 p.m.
RSVP today for a chance to reconnect with teammates, celebrate the legacy of Shepherd athletics, and enjoy a great evening of Rams baseball in a beautiful new ballpark. Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres throughout the reception, along with access to a cash bar, plus great views and even better company waiting for you in the Cintas Club!

As a special thank‑you, all alumni who register will receive a limited‑edition, Shepherd/Boxcars co‑branded ball cap (RSVPs to receive the hat will cut off on March 27. General reception RSVPs will be taken until April 7). Cheer on the Rams as they take on Frostburg State!

65th Annual McMurran Scholars Convocation

The McMurran Scholar Award, the highest academic honor granted by Shepherd University, was conceived in 1961 by Professor Kenneth Riley who served on the first Honors Committee along with Librarian John Maine and Dean of Students O.L. Harry. Criteria for selection as a McMurran Scholar can be found here.
65th McMurran Scholars Anniversary Celebration
Saturday, April 25
5 – 8 p.m.
SU Dining Hall – upper floor (East Campus Loop)
Join us for a special dinner reception to celebrate 65 years of the McMurran Scholars award! The evening will consist of an option campus tour, group photo of all McMurran Scholars in attendance, a short speaking program, and a plated meal with a beer and wine bar included.
The Shepherd University Bookstore will be open from 4-6 p.m. for freshening your Shepherd gear!

Accounting Club Alumni Dinner

The time for catching up with old friends and meeting future accounting professionals is here again! Buffet Dinner with beer and wine available. Business casual dress encouraged.
