Women for Shepherd to host wine tour and tasting, deadline to register is April 26

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Women for Shepherd University, in conjunction with the Shepherd University Foundation, will host an evening at Big Cork Vineyards in Rohrersville, Maryland, on Wednesday, May 3, at 6 p.m. Shepherd alumnus Randy Thompson and his wife, Jenny, welcome Women for Shepherd and guests to take an up-close and personal look at the vineyard, including a presentation by vintner Dave Collins and a tasting of Big Cork wines.

Tickets for the event, which is open to the public, are $30 and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, a full tasting, and a glass of wine. A cash bar will be offered and a limited number of seats on a complimentary shuttle are available. Reservations are requested by April 26. Women for Shepherd University is a network of alumnae, faculty, and friends connecting with one another for personal and professional growth.
