Mission
Scarborough Library advances the mission of Shepherd University by providing equitable access to information resources, fostering student learning, academic success, and lifelong learning, and supporting teaching, research, scholarship, and community engagement. As an intellectual and cultural center of the University, the Library promotes inquiry, discovery, innovation, and informed participation in a diverse and interconnected world.
Vision
Scarborough Library will be a dynamic, student-centered academic home that empowers learners, supports faculty innovation, and enhances the educational experience through responsive services, inclusive spaces, emerging technologies, and strategic stewardship of resources.
