Academic Advising at Shepherd University reflects an institutional concern for the individual and a commitment to provide our students with a supportive environment in which students are able to work closely with faculty, staff, and administrators who encourage their intellectual growth, their personal fulfillment, and their academic and professional excellence.

      It is our hope that this Web site will be part of a university-wide awareness that excellence in advising is a natural extension of excellence in teaching. Student learning is central to the culture of our institution, and finding ways to improve student learning is a continuing process.
