GRADUATE STUDIES
Welcome to
Most of our graduate courses are offered in the evenings, on weekends, and over the summer. Graduate advisors work with each student to plan schedules, meet deadlines, and progress to graduation in a timely manner. All of our graduate programs are fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and students in our programs are eligible for a full spectrum of financial aid.
Currently, Shepherd offers five graduate programs: a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) that provides initial teacher certification for those with bachelor’s degrees in selected fields, and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction that offers a rigorous graduate education to currently certified elementary and secondary teachers, and a Master of Arts in College Student Development and Administration (CSDA) that prepares students for careers in student affairs, enrollment management, and other positions at colleges and universities, and a Master of Music in Music Education (MMME) that offers a high level of specialization designed with the needs of currently employed music educators in mind.
If you are interested in learning more about graduate education at Shepherd, please contact me. I will be glad to answer your questions or direct you to the information that can help you make the right decision for your future.
