Student compositions to be featured in November 28 concert

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The Shepherd University Music Department will present a concert featuring the work of student composers on Monday, November 28 at 7 p.m. in the Frank Center McCoy Rehearsal Hall. The performance is free and open to the public.

The recital will highlight a variety of completed works, compositions in progress, and arrangements by composers in the Shepherd University Music Department. Students whose works will be performed are James Townsend, Romney; Anthony Farris, New Creek; Andalena Jackson, Hagerstown, Maryland; Samuel Bower, Middletown, Maryland; Allison Hollis and Samantha Vaughn, both of Frederick, Maryland; William Miller, Smithsburg, Maryland; Emily Del Vecchio, Chantilly, Virginia; and Nemo Hirschberg, Front Royal, Virginia.
