Holly McCall ’04, Shepherd’s Alumna of the Year, was honored at a dinner during Homecoming week sponsored by the Alumni Association, on October 5 in the atrium of Erma Ora Byrd Hall.
McCall is the head of KRM Associates, Inc., a small, independent woman-owned company headquartered in Shepherdstown that provides information technology, security services, and consulting, specializing in healthcare information technology and information technology security. McCall served on Shepherd’s Board of Governors from 2011 to 2015 and was a member of the board’s audit and finance committee. She also has served on the board of the Shepherd University Alumni Association.
The event also recognized outstanding alumni from previous years in attendance, including Scott M. McCloskey ’71 (1987); President Mary J.C. Hendrix ’74 (1988); Kenneth Lowe, Jr. ’71 (1996); Dennis L. Barron ’73 (2001); Karl Wolf ’70 (2003); Mayor Jim Auxer ’69 (2009); Betty Lowe ’52 (2013); and Al ’67 and Sara ’67 Lueck (2014).
Two previous outstanding alumni attending the dinner were Dr. Scott M. McCloskey ’71 (l.) and Karl Wolf ’71.
