SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The Shepherd University Department of Music is hosting a night of piano ensemble and piano studio music in the Frank Center W. H. Shipley Recital Hall on Wednesday, November 15, at 6 p.m., under the direction of Dr. Yu-Hsuan Liao. Selections include compositions for one piano eight hands, one piano six hands, and solo works by Lavignac, Cras, Grainger, Schubert, Beethoven, and Messiaen. The event is free and open to the public.
Piano ensemble members and piano studio performers in this recital are students Sophie Palmer, Shepherdstown; James Townsend, Romney; Nathan Strite, Williamsport, Maryland; Lucas Peterson, Rockville, Maryland; Anthony Gabourel, Temple Hills, Maryland; Heidi Macaluso, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania; and Jennifer Forbes, Purcellville, Vriginia.
