SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Department of Music is sponsoring a trip to Portugal and Spain in the spring of 2018, and the deadline for early registration to receive a discount has been extended to Monday, May 15. The trip, which will take place May 5-15, 2018, is open to students, alumni, parents, and community members.
The price for this trip with the early registration discount is $3,375 for Shepherd students and music alumni, and $3,575 for community members. After May 15, the cost will increase by $300.
The price includes round trip air fare, all airport taxes and fuel surcharges, accommodations at three and four star hotels in twin or triple rooms with private facilities, breakfast, a three-course dinner, a 24-hour-a-day WorldStrides OnStage tour director, local guides, admission to all excursions and cultural activities, all private coach transportation, all venue fees and promotional costs for concerts, tips and gratuities for guides and drivers, and basic health insurance while on tour.
There will be stops in Lisbon, Sintra, Evora, Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Toledo, and Madrid, with concert performances in Lisbon, Seville, and Madrid.
