Community Music program to offer adult piano classes beginning January 24

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Adults who are interested in brushing up on or learning piano skills will have the opportunity through the Shepherd University Community Music Program, which is offering two adult keyboard piano classes January 24-April 4. The group classes will be just for fun with no grades, deadlines, or recitals.

Susan Petzold-Carpenter, adjunct music professor, will teach the classes on Wednesdays in the Frank Center keyboard lab. Class for level I-beginners will take place from 5:15-6:15 p.m., and level II-intermediate students will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuition for the 10-weeks is $120, plus materials.
