Peer Support Group
Shepherd University is working with our partners at the Eastern Panhandle Empowerment Center to offer a peer support group for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and sexual misconduct.
These groups are designed to be a space where students can meet to talk through their experiences in a safe and comfortable environment. The support groups will be confidential and nothing you share will be reported to the University or to the police. The group will focus on the healing process for all participants. Select the images below for the dates and links for each group, as well as other resources EPEC has to offer.
The Sexual Assault Support Group and the Domestic Violence Support Group meet in person bi-weekly in Gardiner 123 from 3:00-4:30pm. See below for exact dates for each group.
