Our patient centered Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) curriculum is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skill, and understanding necessary to practice in all areas of professional nursing. We are proud to have a 100% job placement rate for each Shepherd Nursing graduate who passes their NCLEX exam.
Our Nursing facility offers several nursing classrooms, 120-seat lecture hall, five simulation labs (acute care, critical care, mother-child, pediatrics and independent living), office space, conference rooms, student study center, computer lab, and general purpose classrooms. This facility was designed to provide students with the modern tools to meet success for nursing education today.

Transferring Credits toward Shepherd’s BSN Program
Shepherd University works diligently to transfer as many credits as possible for students. Students may transfer up to 72 college level credits from regionally accredited community colleges and all college level credits from four-year institutions. Once students are admitted with official transcripts, they will receive a degree evaluation showing how their credits have transferred toward their degree at Shepherd.
Transfer Evaluation System
Students who are transferring from a partner community college can benefit from using our Transfer Evaluation System which shows equivalents of Shepherd courses at these other institutions. To access the articulation agreement tool, visit www.shepherd.edu/registrar/articulation-agreements/.
If you’d like a preliminary evaluation of how your credits will transfer, please email a copy of your unofficial transcript to admission@shepherd.edu and an admissions counselor will contact you promptly.
