The Martinsburg Center has a partnership agreement available to local businesses that enables employees to take courses in Martinsburg. The partnerships may allow in-state and out-of-state employees to take classes with savings up to 25 percent off the current tuition at no cost to the employer. Regardless of where the business is located, the Strategic Alliance Partnership can help businesses provide the benefit of education to their employees.
Please note that this discount is only applicable to employees enrolled through the Shepherd University Martinsburg Center (Regents Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration are the only current programs that qualify). It is the students responsibility to request the discount by providing the center director proof of employment prior to registration EACH semester. If the student fails to provide sufficient proof of employment prior to registration each semester, he/she will not be eligible to receive a discount. Please note that doctoral level programs, programs not enrolling in Martinsburg and WV Rocks courses are not a part of the current alliance partnership agreement (15% off in-state tuition for qualified programs and 25% off out-of-state tuition for qualified programs). Tuition discounts may not be combined or applied to waivers, grants or other forms of scholarship.
