Washington Gateway Saturday Bus Trips

Shepherd Students, Staff, and Faculty:

Washington Gateway Bus Tickets are free for all current full-time or part-time students, faculty, staff, and 1 guest.  Advance reservations are recommended to secure your seat. Students must present their current Rambler Card at the time of departure.

Community Members:

Members of the community are invited to attend, tickets will now be by donation only.  You must go online through the above link and sign up.  You are allowed one guest.  You may donate before the trip by contacting Michelle Lawson at the number below or at the time of boarding the bus.  We can only accept cash or check.

Additional Travel Information

Bus departs at 8:30 a.m from Parking lot H  located off of University Drive passed the Wellness Center.  You can access the lot from Route 480 or Route 45 by the Sheetz. You must be at the designated pickup area prior to departure time. The bus will leave DC at 4:30 p.m. This schedule will give you approximately 6 hours in the city.

Schedule Changes: Gateway reserves the right to modify schedules (departure and arrival times) in order to accommodate class trips. Passengers will be notified via email of any changes prior to trip.

The bus drop-off and pick-up area will be in front of the Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C.

Note: Drop-off and pick-up locations may change due to traffic and/or events. Please confirm with the Gateway attendant on the day of the trip for the exact pick-up location.

Please arrive at the pick-up point early. Washington has strict rules governing buses. The bus will not wait! If you miss the bus, it is your responsibility to find a way back to Shepherdstown.
