Future Resident Resources
Why Live on Campus?
Living on campus offers more than just a place to live. Students are encouraged to get involved and make a difference by connecting with their peers and participating in activities in their residence hall. Whether you’re just starting your journey at Shepherd, joining us from another school, or returning to campus, we are excited to welcome you to our Ram Family!

Shaw Hall & Thacher Hall |
Traditional halls provide expanded options for students seeking a single-room experience within a shared living environment. Shared Restrooms are located on each wing and include private stalls and showers to ensure comfort and privacy for all residents. |
Honors Suites |
As space permits, first-year Honors students may be eligible to live in Martin Hall, a suite-style building among the West Woods suites. On your Housing Application, be sure to include Honors in your living preferences when prompted. |
West Woods &
|
West Woods and Miller Hall offer suite-style living with two bedrooms, one en-suite bathroom, and a shared living room (available to upper-class, transfer, and readmit residents). The suites provide residents with a similar apartment-style living quality without a kitchen. |
Dunlop & Printz Apartments |
Dunlop and Printz Halls offer apartments with a private bathroom, living room, and kitchen (available to upper-class, transfer, and readmit residents). Most apartments have two double-occupancy bedrooms; six apartments have three double-occupancy bedrooms with two bathrooms. The apartments provide a great opportunity for independent living. |
