Shepherd University’s Student Community Services teams up with Jefferson County community members to host the Relay For Life of Jefferson County event each April. This year’s event will be held in the Shepherd University Wellness Center parking lot from 6 pm on April 12 to 6 am on April 13. We will spend 12 hours raising money through Relay Team fundraisers, celebrate our fearless cancer survivors, and experience a long night of activities, laps and exhaustion. But, this does not slow us down. Our goal is to raise over $70,000 for the American Cancer Society in effort to support research and services for cancer survivors locally and nationally.
Relay For Life 2024 Event Information
The event will be held in Parking Lot G on Shepherd University’s Campus. Relay teams and participants may arrive between 3pm – 5pm to set up their campsites and fundraisers. Opening ceremonies will begin at 6pm with the Survivors Tent opening up at 7pm for the Survivors Dinner. For more information call 304-876-5030.
