Notice to Students Regarding Course Fees

Dear Students,

During the upcoming fall semester, we regrettably are unable to provide opportunities for student travel associated with courses.  Instructors are working closely with academic leadership to identify the courses that are assessed a fee to cover the travel costs and recommend that the course fees be refunded to students, where other arrangements are not possible.  This determination has begun and student accounts will be adjusted, as appropriate.

IMPORTANT:  Not ALL course or lab fees will be removed.  There are various reasons for course fees; primarily to cover the cost of consumables, such as supplies, subscriptions like live streaming, etc. Those fees may remain in place.  Each course that assesses a course fee will be evaluated.  If the student will receive the benefit covered by the fee, the fee will not be removed or refunded.

A follow-up notice will be provided as quickly as the review and decision for each of these fees is finalized.  Thank you for your consideration.
