The RAM BAND will perform a pre-game set and their halftime show “Let the Good Times Roll!” Music selections include: “Rock This Town” by Brian Setzer, “Can’t Stop The Feeling” by Justin Timberlake, “Hallelujah” by the Pentatonix, ”Let The Good Times Roll” by Ray Charles and “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder. Ram Stadium.

The RAM BAND will perform a pre-game set and their halftime show “Let the Good Times Roll!” Music selections include: “Rock This Town” by Brian Setzer, “Can’t Stop The Feeling” by Justin Timberlake, “Hallelujah” by the Pentatonix, ”Let The Good Times Roll” by Ray Charles and “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder. Monday Morning Musicale
Monday, October 8, 10:00 a.m.
Open to all high school seniors and juniors who are considering a pursuing a degree in music at Shepherd University, during the Music School’s Visitation Day, students will attend classes, meet the music faculty and current students, visit with representatives from the Admission’s Office, hear ensemble rehearsals and performances, have lunch in the Dining Hall and take a guided campus tour. It will be an opportunity for students to live a “day in the life” of a Shepherd University music student and learn about the audition and application process. 10:00 a.m. recital in W. H. Shipley Recital Hall.
Free and open to the public.

Shepherd Salon Series—Fairfield Duo
Nora Suggs, flute and Candice Mowbray, guitar
Thursday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Seamlessly moving from elegant works by Telemann and Carulli to the music of ancient Japan or twentieth-century France, the Fairfield Duo’s diverse programming, invigorated by exceptional musicianship, is a far-ranging musical adventure, exploring flute and guitar music from around the world and across the centuries. The duo will offer a “musical passport” concert with works from Spain, France, Japan, Italy and influences of the Middle East, as well as by a contemporary, Maryland composer, Richard Zarou. W. H. Shipley Recital Hall.

Shepherd Salon Series—From the Inkwell
Drs. Rachel Carlson, Bobb Robinson and Robert Tudor
Thursday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m.
Soprano Rachel Carlson and baritones Robert Tudor and Bobb Robinson will present a recital driven by poetry, exploring themes of passion, forbidden love and longing, family, and justice. The performance will also feature an East Coast premiere of a new work by composer Laurence Guittard, as well as other contemporary pieces written for or arranged by the artists, and collaborations with Broadway conductor/pianist Jean Browne and celebrated pianist Yu-Hsuan Liao.W. H. Shipley Recital Hall.

Shepherd Salon Series—The Vivaldi Project
Thursday, December 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Praised for its brilliant and expressive playing, The Vivaldi Project presents innovative programs of Baroque and Classical string repertoire that combine scholarship and performance to both educate and delight audiences. The period instrument ensemble takes its name from the virtuoso violinist and innovative composer Antonio Vivaldi in recognition of his pivotal position between earlier Baroque and later Classical composers. W. H. Shipley Recital Hall.

Join us for a warm and inspiring holiday musical tradition featuring Shepherd University’s Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Singers, Women’s Camerata, Men’s Choir, and Concert Choir. The Sunday Family matinee will feature an appearance by Santa and an Instrument “Petting Zoo” for all ages.
