International students participate in a cook-off

The International Affairs office and Global Shepherd Students organization sponsored an international cook-off competition on January 30. There were 14 entries representing France, Ivory Coast, Poland, Puerto Rico/Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Myanmar, Morocco, Niger, and Cuba.

The top three dishes received cash prizes. The winners were, first place, $50 prize, Ja Seng Nsang, a business administration major from Myanmar; second place, $35 prize, Maria Jose Acevedo, a nursing major from Costa Rica; and third place, $15 prize, Nasser Achirou, a business administration major from Niger.
