High Impact Practice Participation

The figures below are from the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and display the percentage of Shepherd University students who participated in High Impact Practices (HIPs) in 2019.  Both figures include participation in service-learning, a learning community, and guided research with faculty mentors.  The senior figure also includes participation in an internship or field experience, study abroad, and a culminating senior experience. Our seniors participate in more HIPs than seniors at many of our peer institutions.
