I hope that your classes are going smoothly. I know that the residential experience has changed a lot, but I hope that you are doing well. We have staff who are providing support and leadership within the halls, so please let us know how we can help you.
In the coming days and weeks, the University will provide updates about financial credit that may be placed on student accounts for residents whose housing and dining plans have been disrupted. I want to make sure that you are aware that you would not be eligible for that funding because you have remained on campus. The exception to this would be if you moved out of campus housing by Monday, April 13. You are included in this email because you are listed as being approved and are present on campus. If this is not accurate, please respond to me quickly so that we can make the needed adjustments.
To be clear, you are welcome to remain on campus for the remainder of the semester – we want you to be successful and for your classes to go well! Please continue to follow social distancing guidelines and have no more than 5 people in a gathering, per Jefferson County regulations. All other visitation regulations remain in place as well.
- remove your belongings from the room
- turn in the temporary door card and metal bedroom/mailbox keys in the drop box in the first floor lobby of your building.
- complete the “Express Checkout” form on the Good Living portal.
ALL of these steps are required in order to confirm that you have left the residence halls.
Thank you for remaining dedicated to your studies. Please let us know how we can provide support for you or if I can answer any questions for you.
