COVID-19 Campus Surveillance Weekly Test Results

This statewide surveillance testing program requires that each week 10 percent of students and employees who are teaching, learning, living, practicing, or working on campus be tested. Names are chosen through random sampling, with limited stratification, and individuals are contacted with a reasonable advance notice. Governor Jim Justice and the West Virginia State DHHR are covering the cost for this testing, which is saliva-based with PCR analysis. Results are expected back within 48-72 hours from the time the test is taken.
