Research Interests and Areas of Expertise:  Agriculture, agroecology and food systems, with a primary focus on soil organic matter, amendments (primarily biochar and compost), and the soil microbiome

 Hobbies/Outside Interests:  Spending time with my family, biking, hiking, kayaking, gardening, camping, and traveling, including internationally.

Research Interests and Areas of Expertise:  Fluvial geomorphology, with an emphasis on sedimentary processes in stream basins of the coastal plain.

Research Interests and Areas of Expertise:  Ph.D. in General Psychology with an Emphasis in Cognition and Instruction. Research interests include well-being, emotional intelligence, and adaptive teaching practices, with an eye toward reducing teacher attrition from the profession.
