SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s TRiO Student Support Services program is sponsoring a Glow Zumba fundraiser on Thursday, February 16, from 6-8 p.m. in the Student Center Storer Ballroom. This is a family-friendly event, led by three volunteers who are certified Zumba instructors, that is open to the public for a suggested minimum donation of $5.

Money raised will go toward the TRiO student emergency fund, which helps students purchase software, supplies, or textbooks. TRiO serves students who are first-generation college students, have disabilities, or who meet income guidelines set by the federal education department, encouraging them to stay in college from one academic year to the next, remain in good academic standing, and graduate on time.

For more information, contact Cynthia Copney, TRiO director, at ccopney@shepherd.edu.
