Where are... and where are we headed?

The United States consumes approximately 21 million barrels of oil per day-- 1/4 of total global demand (World Watch Institute).  This high rate of consumption coupled with dwindling fossil fuel reserves indicates a necessity to adopt renewable energy technologies and techniques.

The world is on the verge of an energy revolution.

American Energy, the Renewable Path to Energy Security produced by the World Watch Institute is a great overview of renewable energy applications and the current state of US energy consumption.  Check it out!
