Women for Shepherd University to host fashion show and tea April 13

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The Women for Shepherd University, in conjunction with the Shepherd University Foundation, will host “Embracing Change with Style and Grace,” a panel discussion, fashion show, and high tea Sunday, April 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Erma Ora Byrd Hall.

The panel discussion will be about dealing positively with life changes such as loss of loved ones, managing post-career financial situations, and achieving an engaged and fulfilling lifestyle after retirement. Panelists include Denise Watterson, M.A., C.J., bereavement coordinator of Hospice County of Frederick County, Maryland, Faith Stouffer, former financial planner, and Mary Ellen Waltemire, certified life and leadership coach. Ann Watson, dean of Scarborough Library, will moderate. A fashion show and high tea will follow.

The fashion show will feature looks from Aspire boutique in Frederick, Maryland, and ReFINEments in Shepherdstown. Attendees are invited to purchase raffle tickets at the door. Tickets are one for $5 and three for $10 with proceeds benefitting Women for Shepherd University.
