W.Va. Entrepreneurial Success Speaker Series to be held on campus

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The West Virginia Entrepreneurial Success Speaker Series meets Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. through October 9 in White Hall 106.

The series is an opportunity to meet successful West Virginia entrepreneurs and support professionals and to learn more about entrepreneurship in the state. Participants will explore options and resources available.

Speakers represent a variety of fields, including technology, arts, retail, energy, and agriculture, and supporting organizations. Scheduled speakers are Isabella Yosuico from Mighty Tyke, LLC, talking about innovation and technology; the advisory services panel from the Small Business Development Center, West Virginia Manufacturing Extension Partnership, and others talking about entrepreneurial assistance; Jane Tabb from Fresh Feast on the Farm talking about agritourism and agriculture; the financing panel from Innova, Business Finance Group, BB&T, and Entrepreneurs’ Cafe talking about entrepreneurial financing; and Cynthia Gayton from Steam at Harper’s Ferry talking about tourism and retail.

The events are hosted by the West Virginia Enterprise Initiative, Dr. Caroline Glackin, and Edward L. Snyder Endowed Chair at Shepherd University, and sponsored by the Shepherd University Lifelong Learning Program.
