Volunteers needed for April 22 produce drop

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University is looking for volunteers to help with its 10th annual Produce Drop on Saturday, April 22, from 6-11 a.m.

One hundred volunteers are needed to help with 42,000 pounds of fresh, white potatoes that will be brought to campus and unloaded on King St. to be re-distributed to hunger relief agencies in the tri-state area. Volunteers are asked to meet at 6 a.m. in front of Knutti Hall.
