RETURNING FROM DEPLOYMENT OR ACTIVE DUTY

If you are returning to Shepherd University after an absence of more than two consecutive semesters:

  • Complete and submit the application for readmission through the Office of Admissions.
  • Submit official transcripts from colleges you attended after Shepherd.
  • Submit DD214 or military transcript
  • Once accepted you will meet with your academic advisor to schedule classes.

If you have never attended Shepherd University:

  • Complete and submit the application for admission through the Office of Admissions
  • If you have less than 26 college level credits, submit official high school transcripts and ACT or SAT test scores. Test scores are required if you graduated from high school within the last five years.
  • Submit official transcripts from any colleges you have attended
  • Submit DD214 or military transcript
  • Once accepted you will meet with an academic advisor to schedule classes

Re-activating Your Montgomery GI Bill

* Complete form 22-1995 Change of Place of Training or Program

* Complete a Coordinator Card

* Submit both forms to Mary Beth Walling at mwalling@shepherd.edu or bring your forms to the Student Affairs Office, First Floor, Student Center.
