Explore the following sites for study abroad grants, scholarships, and financial aid. Start this process early so you can be sure to meet the deadlines.
Financial Aid
Contact the Office of Financial Aid to discuss your federal, state and institutional financial aid including, grants, loans, and scholarships. You may use your federal financial aid for study abroad, and, depending upon your situation, you may also be able to use some state aid as well as other scholarships. Even if you do not presently have financial aid (scholarships, loans, grants), you may still be able to apply for it if the costs of study abroad exceed those of Shepherd University. Prepare a budget with all your study abroad expenses: program costs, housing, airfare, passport, living expenses, etc and bring this with you to Financial Aid.
