(Shepherd University announces faculty promotions, tenure, retirements)

Shepherdstown, WV--Shepherd University faculty receiving promotions in rank effective for the 2005-2006 academic year are Dr. R. Scott Beard (music) to associate professor; Laura Clayton (nursing) to associate professor; Dr. Geri Crawley-Woods (social work) to professor; Kathy Dilley (nursing) to associate professor; Dr. Doug Kennard (education) to professor; Karen Pugsley (nursing) to associate professor; Dr. Laura Renninger (music) to associate professor; Dr. Ellen Sallee (education) to professor; and Dr. Linda Tate (English) to professor.

Faculty awarded tenure are Dr. R. Scott Beard (music) and Dr. Laura Renninger (music).

Faculty retiring this year who received emeritus status are Dr. Peter Morris, professor emeritus of mathematics; Dr. Betty Myers, associate professor emerita of education; Dr. James E. Pantle, professor emeritus of music; and Judy T. Kepple, associate professor emerita of education.
