Shepherd University to hold American Red Cross blood drive July 20 ISSUED: 6 July 2005 Shepherdstown, WV--Shepherd University will hold a blood drive from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20 in the Storer Ballroom, Student Center. As part of their summer campaign, "On the highway of life...donors wanted," the American Red Cross is presenting donors with a scratch-off ticket for a drawing to win a 2005 Chevy Equinox, $1,000 or $500 gasoline gift cards, or small appreciation items. During the summer months, blood inventories often drop to critically low levels as donors take vacations or participate in outdoor activities. Eligible donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 105 pounds, and be in generally good health. For more information or to schedule a time to donate call the Student
