Ribbon-cutting ceremony July 25 to mark official opening of Shepherd's Martinsburg Center

Shepherdstown, WV--A ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the official opening of Shepherd University's Martinsburg Center will be held Thursday, July 25 at 4 p.m. at 261 Aikens Center, Martinsburg.
Speakers will include Dr. Paul Hill, chancellor of the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission; Jim Klein, director of the Martinsburg Center; James Vigil, associate vice president for business decision support; Dr. Christopher Ames, vice president for academic affairs; and Shepherd University President Suzanne Shipley.
Degrees offered at the Martinsburg Center include the Regents bachelor of arts degree; bachelor of science in nursing (R.N. to B.S.N track); master of business administration with concentrations in accounting, health care, public management, and sport management; master of arts in curriculum and instruction (multi-categorical special education concentration, pending approval by the West Virginia Department of Education).
Fall semester classes begin Monday, August 26.
