Shepherd's Environmental Sciences to host Earth Day party

Shepherdstown, WV--Shepherd University's Institute of Environmental and Physical Sciences will be hosting a Green Party to celebrate Earth Day on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13.
On Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the party will take place at the Byrd Science Center and the Red Zone (Shepherd's renewable energy site) and will include food, games, demonstrations, and booths of local renewable energy facilities to help teach people how to be green. On Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, presenters will discuss renewable energy in Reynolds Hall, and at 4 p.m. there will be a field trip to local renewable energy sites.
