Shepherd University's Common Reading Program to host lecture January 23

Shepherdstown, WV--The Shepherd University Common Reading Program and Biology Department Seminar Series will host a lecture by Dr. Michael Dean, head of human genetics at the National Cancer Institute, on Wednesday, January 23 at 5 p.m. in the Robert C. Byrd Center for Legislative Studies auditorium.
Dean's lecture "Cancer and Our Genes: Applying What We Know to Prevention and Treatment" will be followed by a question and answer session. The event is free and open to the public.
