Shepherdstown, WV--Shepherd University's Department of Music will present the Chamber Singers, Men's Choir, and Women's Camerata in concert on Friday, March 22 at 8 p.m. in the Frank Center. The audience will have the opportunity to hear some of the works to be performed by the Department of Music on their upcoming tour to France and Monaco in May.

The concert will include the Men's Choir, Women's Camerata, and Concert Choir performing Norman Dello Joio's "To Saint Cecilia" with brass sextet, the Vocal Jazz Ensemble in their second full semester of work, and the Chamber Singers with Eric Whitacre's "Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine." The Women's Camerata is an ensemble of 30 to 35 female singers, comprised of voice majors, music majors, and many students from other disciplines at Shepherd. The Men's Choir, under the direction of Dr. Robert Tudor, director of vocal studies and department of music chair, is an ensemble of 12 to 15 male voices singing jazz, doo-wop, barbershop, and classical male choir literature.

Admission and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The box office opens one hour prior to performance.
