Shepherd's Program Board to host annual Shepfest event Saturday, September 15 ISSUED: 11 September 2012 Shepherdstown, WV--The Shepherd University Program Board will hold its annual Shepfest event on Saturday, September 15 from 2 to 6 p.m. on Shepherd's East Campus Midway. The alcohol- and drug-free event is free and open to the Shepherd community. The event will feature a Battle of the Bands, in which 10 student bands will compete for a cash prize. In addition, Shepfest will have novelty carnival amusements including a zipline and waterslide. PEPSI will offer a sampling of free beverages and free corn dogs. Bottles and other containers are restricted; however, blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.
