Deadline for Shepherd's Appalachian Studies Program's Celtic Roots travel tour is October 31

Shepherdstown, WV--Shepherd University's Appalachian Studies Program will accept community members on the Celtic Roots travel adventure through October 31. The tour will take travelers to Ireland, Scotland, the Celtic parts of England and London for a 13-day tour, March 8 through March 20, 2013. The $500 deposit deadline is October 31, 2012.
While the tour is organized by the Appalachian Studies program, Caterbridge Tours will handle travel arrangements for this all-inclusive tour. Travelers will fly out of Dulles to Shannon, where they will begin an extraordinary tour taking them to Coole park, the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, the Rock of Cashel, Blarney Castle, and Dublin to see the Book of Kells and Joyce's Dublin, as well as an Irish National Theater production.
Sights in Scotland include Burns country and museum, Stirling Castle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. Edinburgh Castle, Scott's Abbotsford, and other remarkable sights will be explored on the way to Whitby and Lincoln Castle. The last two days of the trip will be in London. The price includes all venues, most meals, four-star hotels, all ground transportation and the flight from Dulles.
