Shepherdstown, WV--The Shepherd University common reading This I Believe essay "Jazz is God Laughing" will be celebrated on the Scarborough Library front porch, Friday, September 23 from 9 to 11 a.m. with a jazz combo directed by Kurtis Adams while the library serves a takeaway breakfast.

The event is co-sponsored by the Scarborough Library and the Shepherd One Book, One Community Common Reading Program. The event is free and open to the public.
