George Tyler Moore Center for the Study of Civil War at Shepherd University to sponsor tour as part of course ISSUED: 16 September 2011 Shepherdstown, WV--The George Tyler Moore Center for the Study of Civil War at Shepherd University will sponsor a tour as part of the course Civil War America, 1850-1865 taught by Dr. Mark Snell, director of the George Tyler Moore Center for the Study of Civil War. A limited number of seats are available to the public on the field trip buses. On Wednesday, November 2, the tour will cover the Gettysburg Campaign (including all three days of the battle). The cost for the tour is $50 per person. The fees include transportation to and from Shepherdstown on an air-conditioned, restroom-equipped bus and a full-day, expert-guided tour. Lunch is not included, but a lunch stop will be made near convenient restaurants. Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
