Shepherd's Scarborough Society to host Faculty Art Show reception
ISSUED: 19 January 2011
Shepherdstown, WV--The Scarborough Society of Shepherd University, sponsored by the Shepherd University Foundation, will host a reception on Monday, February 7 from 5-7 p.m. in recognition of the faculty art show on display in the reading room of the Scarborough Library. The exhibit, part of the ongoing Scarborough Art and Lecture Series at Shepherd, will be on display from January 31 through February 25. The reception and exhibit are open to the public.
Several faculty members submit their work in the show, which features a wide range of media, including photography, printmaking, and mixed media.
"The exhibit represents some of the most recent research and discoveries of the faculty in the Department of Contemporary Art and Theater," says Rhonda J. Smith, chair and professor of art.
