Two Shepherd professors to exhibit work in Frederick as part of Artomatic show ISSUED: 9 September 2011 Shepherdstown, WV--Two Shepherd University art professors will be participating in the Artomatic art show in Frederick, Maryland, September 28-November 6. Sonya Evanisko, coordinator of the B.F.A. painting program, and Rhonda Smith, chair of the Department of Contemporary Art and Theater and coordinator of the B.F.A. nontoxic printmaking program, will be exhibiting their work in the art event which features visual and performing arts. Presented in partnership with the Frederick Arts Council and Frederick County Public Schools, Artomatic will transform the former FCPS Central Office, 115 W. Church Street, into a temporary art space. The event will feature more than 500 artists in six weeks. The 27,000 square foot facility will host a multitude of art forms, including the visual arts, theater, music, film, poetry, and more. The event is free and open to the public.
